Role Overview:

The Senior Data Analyst/Data Scientist within the CSG Professional Services Analytics team supports the Professional Services business by uncovering insights from complex datasets and transforming them into actionable dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and SQL. This role involves applying advanced data science techniques to analyze KPIs, build predictive models, and provide data-driven recommendations for sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a domain expert in product data science, guiding best practices and advancing data science methodologies.
• Champion evidence-based decision-making by making data insights accessible and scalable.
• Analyze scalable KPIs to uncover business performance drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Build and deploy predictive analytics models to forecast trends and early signals in key business areas.
• Partner with sales leadership and professional services sellers to deliver accurate data and strategic insights.
• Manipulate and wrangle data using Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets/Excel to highlight patterns and impacts.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data quality for operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably within enterprise software.

• Proficient in at least one programming language for data science (Python or R).
• Familiarity with large-scale data technologies such as Spark, Presto, Hive, and Hadoop.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical results into clear business insights.
